Eric Dial is currently the mayor of Tyrone. He was originally elected to the town council in 2007 and then elected as mayor in 2011. He has served three terms as mayor and one term as a city council member.

Eric is a strategic consultant and president of Dial Strategic Consulting. He previously worked in the office of U.S. Representative Mac Collins. Eric was elected by his mayoral peers to serve on the Atlanta Regional Commission Board. He is a member of the Governance Committee and Vice Chairman of the Strategic Relations Committee.

Eric has lived in Fayette County for 30 years. He is married and lives with his wife and their three sons. He attended Georgia State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in political science.
