Clifford graduated from Eisenhower High School. He then attended Yakima Valley Community College. Clifford is also a licensed paramedic and nursing assistant.

Clifford currently self-employed at CB's Apiary. He previously worked for over 30 years at Yakima Valley School, with his most recent position being a residential services coordinator. This position was under the state's Department of Social and Health Services.
