LeRoy and his family have lived in Moxee for over 100 years. He has grandchildren that also live in the city. Leroy graduated from East Valley High School.

LeRoy is involved with the agricultural industry, and his family has generationally farmed in Moxee. He is a fourth-generation hop farmer, more specifically.

LeRoy Lenseigne is currently the mayor of Moxee. He was appointed as such in 2021 and is currently serving his first term. Previously, he was a long-term city council member. For this position, he was elected in 2006 and was in office for 16 years.

- Stated, "Moxee has historically been a low-crime city and as mayor I will work hard to keep it that way with the help of legislators and law enforcement police organizations to fix these confusing police reform bills."
- Believes that House Bill 1310 (requires officers to only use as much force as needed for conflict resolution) and House Bill 1054 (bars law enforcement from things such as neck restraints, military grade weapons, no-knock search warrants, etc.) "took away important tools used by law enforcement to de-escalate situations."

- Wishes to ensure responsible growth of the rural lifestyle of Moxee.

- The mayor leads the executive branch of local government, presiding over city council meetings, making sure city departments run smoothly, and providing services to citizens. 
- The mayor runs the city day to day and prepares the budget each year, meaning that they propose how much funding goes to each city department, including the police department, city parks, transportation, and the fire department. 
- The mayor also hires the Police Chief, Fire Chief, and city department heads, such as City Planning, Parks & Recreation, and Transportation. 
- Most Washington mayors are elected in odd years to four year terms. Elections are nonpartisan.
