E. Olivia McCornell's campaign for City Council Member in Locust Grove, Georgia is her first run for public office. She previously served as the District 1 (Locust Grove) Representative on the Henry County Board of Ethics.

Olivia currently works as a planner for the City of Hampton and as the chief executive officer of O. McCornell Consulting Services. She previously worked as the director of programs and member engagement at the Clayton County Chamber of Commerce, and as an assistant supervisor for the Clayton County Board of Commissioners. Olivia also serves as Founder and President of The Johnson Foundation, Inc.

Olivia has a bachelor's degree in mass communication/media studes from Tougaloo College, a master's degree in public administration from Clark Atlanta University, and is pursuing a doctorate in public administration from Valdosta State University. She serves on the board of Locust Grove Main Street, Inc. and was a member of the Steering Committee for the City of Locust Grove 2023 Comprehensive Land Use Plan. (LinkedIn, Candidate website)
