Jasper has a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Florida A&M University and a master's degree in health services administration from Central Michigan University. He resides in Grayson, Georgia with his wife Felicia. They have three children together. He attends Berean Christian Church in Gwinnett. 

Jasper currently works as the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of Watty Consulting, LLC. He is a retired army lieutenant colonel and a licensed nuclear pharmacist. 

Jasper Watkins III is the current County Commissioner for Gwinnett County District 3. He was elected to this position in 2020 and is serving his first term.
