Kim Cox Owen's campaign for Fayette County Board of Education Member is her first entry into politics.

Kim is the owner of Cox & Company Real Estate. She has previously worked as the parent and community liaison for Atlanta Public Schools and a housing counselor for CredAbility.

Kim is from Atlanta, Georgia. She has a bachelors degree in political science and government from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University. She serves as the logistics committee chair of the Alzheimer's Association and has volunteered as a board member for the United Way of Greater Atlanta.
