William Werkheiser currently serves as the State Representative for House District 157. He was elected in 2014 and is seeking a sixth term. He is chair of the Industry and Labor Committee.

Bill owns a real estate business. He previously owned and operated two printing companies until 2016.

Bill earned his bachelor's degree in technology from Georgia Southern University. He and his wife, Kathy, have four children and eight grandchildren. They live in Glennville and attend Glennville First Baptist Church.
