Josh is the owner of Southeast Properties, Inc., a commercial asset management and brokerage firm. He served on active duty as a Military Intelligence Officer in the United States Army and later joined the United States Army Reserves, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He's served on the Georgia Real Estate Commission.

Josh Bonner was elected to the Georgia House of Representatives in 2016. He serves as the Vice-Chair of the Defense and Veterans Affairs Committee and the Creative Arts & Entertainment Committee.
