Douglas County School Board member pleads"no contest to passing bus full of kids

Devetrion received an associate's degree in fashion merchandising from Bauder University and a bachelor's degree in merchandising from American InterContinental University. In 2017, he pleaded no contest to passing a stopped school bus with children on it and paid a fine.

Ruth has lived in Douglasville for 35 years, and has been a longtime attendant of Golden Memorial United Methodist Church.

Ruth was a civil servant for the Department of Defense for 20 years. She also had a 13 year career with the Department of Children and Family Services, as a special education and substitute teacher for the Douglas County School System, and works on the Douglasville Zoning Board.
