Bob Carter is currently a state representative serving for Montana's House District 98. He was elected in 2022 and is serving his first term.

Bob previously worked in technology in Silicon Valley, and as a small business owner. He then became a stay-at-home dad after he and his wife had kids.

Bob is originally from Montana, and currently lives in Missoula. He is a husband and father. Bob earned his bachelor's degree in computer science with minors in math and media arts, and an emphasis in accounting from the University of Montana. He volunteers with a variety of non-profit childhood and education related organizations. Bob and his wife are certified foster care parents.
