Lorri graduated from Anson Senior High School. She earned her associate degree in business administration from South Piedmont Community College, bachelor’s degree from Pfeiffer University and a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from South Carolina State University. Lorri is a past president of the South Carolina Probation and Parole Association. She has two children and a grandson.

Lorri currently works as manager of administrative hearings for the South Carolina Department of Corrections.
