Angela Sigmon Henson's campaign for Catawba County Register of Deeds is her first run for public office.

Angela currently works as an assistant to the controller at Temple Inc. and a foundations tutor at Classical Conversations. She previously worked as a commercial banker at BB&T, RBC Centura, and Bank of America. She also worked for Senator Jesse Helms.

Angela is from Catawba County. She holds a bachelor's degree in speech communications and mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master's degree in business administration from Wake Forest University's School of Management. She is married and has 4 children. She is a member of Corinth Reformed Church.
