Jodi Salvo's campaign for state representative in State House District 51 is her 1st run for public office.

Jodi currently works as a director of substance use prevention services at OhioGuidestone. She is also a coordinator of the Empower Tusc Coalition. She previously worked as a medical social worker, home health care social worker, and rehabilitation unit case manager. She is a former president and advisory council member of Ohio's Statewide Prevention Coalition Association.

Jodi is from Western Pennsylvania. She holds a bachelor's degree from California University of Pennsylvania and her master's degree in social work from Marywood University. She lives in Tuscarawas County with her husband, Phil. She is a Christian and attends Dover Alliance Church. She volunteers at her local community food pantry.
