Susan Manchester was born and raised just outside of Waynesfield, Ohio. She holds degrees in psychology and political science from The Ohio State University. She is married to her husband, Isaac. She volunteered as a field organizer for the Ohio Republican Party. 

Susan previously worked as a community outreach director at Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Central Ohio. She also worked in the offices of US Representative Jim Jordan of Ohio and US Representative Raul Labrador of Idaho. She served as co-vice chairperson of the Ohio Legislative Children Caucus. 

Susan Manchester currently serves as a state representative in State House District 78. She was elected to this position in 2022 and is serving her 1st term. She previously served as a state representative in State House District 84. She was elected to this position in 2018 and served for 2 terms. She served as chairperson of the House Families, Aging, and Human Services Committee.

Susan Manchester

Susan Manchester was born and raised just outside of Waynesfield, Ohio, where she currently lives on a small farm with her husband, Isaac. She attended The Ohio State University, earning degrees in Psychology and Political Science. She found her community in Campus Crusade for Christ during her time at university.

Susan Manchester is currently a State Representative in the Ohio House. She previously worked in Congressman Jim Jordan’s office in Washington, D.C., and held a position with a non-profit organization focused on mentoring kids.

Susan Manchester has served in the Ohio House of Representatives since 2018. She has chaired the House Families, Aging, and Human Services Committee and served on the House Health Committee and House Primary and Secondary Education Committee. She is running in the 2024 Republican primary for an open state senate seat.
