Johnny Eubanks is from Commerce. He attended Commerce City Schools. He lives with his wife, Judy, and their two sons in Commerce. He is a member of Commerce First Baptist Church.

Johnny is a retired manufacturing manager. He worked at Reliance Electric, later known as Rockwell, Baldor, and ABB, for forty-seven years. He also served as a firefighter with the Commerce Fire Department for twenty-nine years, including nine years as chief and time as an instructor for the Georgia Fire Academy.

Johnny previously served as Councilman for Ward 5 in Commerce for 12 years. He did not run for re-election in 2023 due to health issues. After being away from his councilman position for two years and having resolved his health problem, he is now running for Commerce Mayor Pro Tem.
