Johnny Eubanks is from Commerce and attended Commerce City Schools. He lives with his wife, Judy, and their two sons in Commerce. Johnny is a member of Commerce First Baptist Church.

Johnny is a retired manufacturing manager. He worked at Reliance Electric, later known as Rockwell, Baldor, and ABB, for forty-seven years. He also served as a firefighter with the Commerce Fire Department for twenty-nine years, including nine years as chief and time as an instructor for the Georgia Fire Academy.

Johnny previously served as Councilman for Ward 5 in Commerce for 12 years. He did not run for re-election in 2023 due to health issues.
