Andrea Boone is from Atlanta, Georgia. She has a bachelor of arts in political science from Tuskegee University. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and Rush Memorial Congregational Church.

Andrea Boone is the Chief of Staff to Atlanta City Councilmember C. T. Martin. She previously served as the City of Atlanta Commissioner in the Mayor's Office of Constituent Services for over seven years.
