Etrinda is from Savannah, Georgia. She attended Fort Valley State University. She is a mother and grandmother and attends St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

Etrinda is the founder of The Castle Group, a consulting group. She also founded the Hope Toward Home Ownership during the housing crisis of 2008. She previously worked for Delta Airlines in Technical Operations.

T. Starr earned earned a bachelor’s degree in leadership communication and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Waldorf University. She is married to her husband, Detric, and they have 2 sons. 

T. Starr serves as the Battalion Chief for the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department (AFRD). She has worked in various roles with the AFRD including arson investigations, background and recruitment, field and airport operations, and resource/communication management.

T. Starr Cummings currently serves on the East Point City Council, Ward C At-Large. She was elected in 2022 and is serving her first term.
