Originally from Kansas, Councilwoman Cara Schroeder earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Emory University before making Tucker her home in 1997. She and her husband, Michael, are deeply committed to making Tucker an even better place to live, work, play, and pray.

Cara is currently a member of the Tucker City Council, representing District 2. She was elected in 2021 and officially took office in January 2022. She is currently serving her first term.

As a city council member, rezoned Lawrenceville Highway to attract business investment and revitalize a key gateway into Tucker.

Collaborated with the Northlake CID to improve the I-285/Lawrenceville Hwy entrance with new landscaping and signage.

Plans to redevelop underused areas and attract new businesses to the Northlake Mall district.

Patrice Cosby is from Tucker, Georgia. She has a master’s degree in education with a specialty in organizational behavior and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. She lives with her husband and their two children in Pine Grove.

Patrice is a virtual executive assistant and licensed independent travel agent. In her role as a virtual assistant, she supports attorneys and contractors by managing administrative tasks and handling large budgets. As a travel agent, she specializes in planning and booking travel arrangements for clients.
