Helmut Love Domagalski earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He is a father who lives in Atlanta.

Helmut currently works as a consultant with The Lucio Group, providing leadership consulting with a focus on strategy, product, and market development. He also serves as the executive director of The Gayly Impact and is the founder and content creator of The Gayly Dose. He previously worked as a senior product leader at Carestream Dental and as chief product officer at Alluceo. Before that, he served as executive director of provider offering management at IBM, and as global vice president of population health solutions at Allscripts. Helmut also held leadership roles at Nuance Communications, McKesson, and GE Healthcare, including global product strategy, operations, and marketing. He began his career in invasive monitoring systems at Prucka Engineering.

Helmut's campaign for Atlanta Mayor is his first entry into politics.
