Debbie Martin is a single mother and grandmother. She has a bachelor of science in business administration and management from the University of Phoenix. She moved to Hoschton in 2020.

Debbie is a retired project manager. She worked at a medical device company for 22 years, starting as a document manager and quickly progressing to project manager. After moving to Hoschton in 2020, she worked part-time for Visiting Angels as a companion caregiver.

Debbie is currently the Mayor of Hoschton. She was elected in 2023 and is serving her first term. Before becoming mayor, she served on the Hoschton City Council from 2022 to 2023.
