Kelly Stewart's Biography

Kelly Stewart is from Johns Creek, Georgia. She has a master's degree in city planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a bachelor's degree in public administration from Brenau University, and an associate's degree in psychology from Gainesville State College. She lives with her husband, Tom Stewart, in Johns Creek. She attends First Baptist Church Atlanta.

Kelly is a human resources executive. She worked at Lucas Group as vice president of human resources from 2007 to 2014. She was a human resources manager at Electromagnetic Sciences, Incorporated, from 2000 to 2007. Earlier in her career, she served as county administrator for Fannin County in 1999 and 2000, and she worked as a scheduler and legislative assistant in the United States House of Representatives.

Kelly is a former member of the Johns Creek City Council. She ran for the State of Georgia House of Representatives, District 50 in 2018 but did not win. She previously served as Mayor Pro Tempore for the City of Johns Creek.
