Mount Holly City Council

Lauren moved to North Carolina in 2003. She earned a bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from Penn State University. She has lived in Mount Holly since 2006 with her husband Jason. They have two children and attend Holy Comforter Lutheran Church.

Lauren is a biology section supervisor at the United States Department of Agriculture National Science Laboratory in Gastonia. She previously worked as a lab technician, molecular biologist, and laboratory auditor at the same laboratory.

Lauren is currently a member of the Mount Holly City Council. She was first elected in 2021. She previously served on the Mount Holly Economic Development Committee, the Mayor's Greenway Taskforce, and the Planning and Zoning Commission.
