Edward Davis is from Garysburg, North Carolina. He attended Northampton County High School-West. He lives with his daughter and granddaughter in Garysburg. He is Pentecostal.

Edward is the area general manager at ZMC Hotels, LLC. He previously worked at the Holiday Inn in Roanoke Rapids, NC, where he started his first job and stayed for all four years of high school. He has continued to work in the hotel industry for 33 years.

Edward's campaign for Garysburg Mayor is his first entry into politics.
