She lives with her husband and their three children in Harrisburg. She has volunteered on the PTA/PTO for Harrisburg Elementary and Hickory Ridge Middle School for 12 years.

Jennifer is a human resources management professional. She worked in human resources management for 20 years. 

Jennifer is currently the mayor of Harrisburg. She was sworn in to office on December 13, 2021. Her term expires in 2025.
