Chris is a business owner at Strategic Capital Solutions. He previously served in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee from 1991 to 1999.

Chris is currently the Mayor of Mooresville. He was first elected as Mayor in 2013 and is currently serving his third term. Before becoming Mayor, he served on the Mooresville Town Board as the Ward 4 Commissioner from 2005 to 2011. He also served in the North Carolina State Senate from 2011 to 2013.
