Liz White is from Norfolk, Virginia. She attended East Carolina University and Florida State University. She has a master’s degree in sports medicine from East Carolina University. She lives in Oak Island, North Carolina.

Liz is a retired learning architect and project manager. She previously worked as an athletic trainer at East Carolina University, where she rose to the position of assistant director of the Sports Medicine Division. Later, she joined the American Red Cross National Headquarters staff in Health & Safety Services and then in Disaster Services. She also retired from the Association of American Medical Colleges, where she played a major role in a national campaign that has impacted medical education and the practice of medicine.
