Emery G. Doughtie, Mayor of Roanoke Rapids

Emery is currently the mayor of Roanoke Rapids. He was first elected in 2009 and is currently serving his fourth term. Before serving as mayor, he served three years on the Roanoke Rapids Sanitary District Board and 15 years on the Board of Education of the Roanoke Rapids Graded School District.
