R. Dwayne Dunning is a lifelong resident of Falcon, North Carolina. He attended East Bladen High School and has completed coursework at Fayetteville Technical Community College. He is married to Connie Hughes Dunning and has three children and five grandchildren. He attends Culbreth Memorial PHC Church in Falcon, where he plays the bass guitar and occasionally sings on the Praise Team.

R. Dwayne Dunning is currently a Falcon Town Commissioner. He has served in this role for 6 years and previously served as Parks Commissioner and Street Commissioner. He is also the Mayor Pro-tem and Finance Officer of the Board.
