Anthony Sutton has lived in Waynesville for over a decade. He is an alumnus of the Duke University Leadership Program. He is married and lives with his husband in Waynesville.

Anthony is the Director of Information Systems at Biltmore Farms, where he has worked for the past 25 years. He previously served as Chair of the Haywood Healthcare Foundation, where he played a key role in the development of the new Health & Human Services building at Haywood Community College. He also served four years on the Town of Waynesville Planning Board and was a board member of REACH of Haywood, a nonprofit supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, and human trafficking.

Anthony is currently a member of the Waynesville Town Council. He was first elected in 2019 and is currently serving his second term.

Julia is currently a member of the Waynesville Town Council. She was first elected in 2021 and is serving her first term.
