Abrilla O. Robinson

Abrilla O. Robinson is a Michigan native, born and raised in Highland Park, where she attended Catholic school for 12 years, graduating from St. Martin DePorres High School. She later pursued higher education at Highland Park Community College and the Center for Creative Arts and Studies College of Design, majoring in Advertising. In 1986, she relocated to Durham, North Carolina, where she quickly became a driving force in environmental advocacy. Robinson currently resides in Smithfield, North Carolina, where she continues her work to make environmental innovation accessible to all.

Abrilla currently works as a business administrator for Robinson Environmental Solutions, LLC. She previously served as the executive director of SunShares, a nonprofit organization in Durham, North Carolina, from 1997 to 2000. Earlier in her career, she worked at AC Delco, a division of General Motors Corporation, in Detroit.
