Brandon Murden

Brandon Murden earned a bachelor of business administration in international business from the University of Houston-Downtown and a master of science in accounting from the University of Dallas. He and his wife, Marcela, have three daughters and one son. They have lived in Mesquite since 2009.

Brandon is a finance and strategy professional in the private equity sector. He previously held key roles at Fortune 500 companies, startups, and private businesses. He is also a former owner of a local gas station and restaurant.

Brandon is currently a councilmember representing Mesquite City Council, District 6. He was elected in 2023 and is serving his first term.
