Darryl born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where he currently resides in the Southwest neighborhood with his family. He attended Frederick Douglass High School in Dixie Hills, graduating as Valedictorian, and later graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Public Policy. He attends Zion Hill Baptist Church in South Fulton.

Darryl is the Principal Consultant for Royalty Atlantic Advisors. He has previously served as Chief of Staff to Atlanta City Council member Byron Amos, as an aide to Council members Michael Julian Bond and Keisha Lance Bottoms, and as a State Representative aide to 'Able' Mable Thomas. D.J. has also worked as a Grant Manager and Fundraiser for the SkillUp Coalition and was an International Baccalaureate World School American Government Educator at D.M. Darryl "Dj" Terry II

Nate is an ordained minister and a board member for a Ugandan NGO focused on mental health and economic development. He moved to Atlanta after high school. 

Nate is a Senior Policy Advisor for an Atlanta City Council member and has previously served as a Chief of Staff and LGBTQIA+ Relations Liaison. He is also the owner of two small businesses. He has served as an Executive Director for multiple churches. 

Nate Green's campaign for state senator is his first entry into politics.
